Our Story

Our story starts with our amazing friends Peter and Lisette Clarke. Kevin has known Peter since they were three and Kelsey met Lisette at DePaul. We were both in their wedding party and while spending time together we realized there was so much more to our friendship. We started dating in September 2019 and have had an amazing 5+ years since. Navigating an early relationship during the covid pandemic was not typical but we quickly found ourselves in love.

In May 2021, we moved into our first place together in River North and enjoyed everything the city had to offer for the next three years. Our days were full of riverwalks with our dog London, and countless museum and dinner dates. We had the opportunity to travel all over and enjoyed weekend escapes to Green Lake, confirming how much we wanted to spend all our time together.

In May 2024, on our last night in our first apartment, Kevin proposed in the most sentimental way, right at our favorite spot—the balcony. He got down on one knee and asked the question that started this new chapter of our lives.

We can’t wait to get married and are so excited to celebrate with you!
